The legacy and contribution of the late Rudy "Daboy" Fernandez to Philippine cinema will continue after he was able to sign a contract with ABS-CBN last December 18 giving ABS-CBN the exclusive right to air his award winning films.
Reportedly, Fernandez was accompanied by Lorna Tolentino at the signing which was witnessed by ABS-CBN executives, including the network's president Charo Santos-Concio and Malou Santos.
Daboy's films will be aired at the end of the Fernando Poe Jr. Cinema Collection, showing every Saturday.
The Philippines Prince of action recently passed away due to periampullary cancer.
