The period epic film "The Warlords" conquers the 27th Hong Kong Film Awards, Sunday April 13, 2008. Action superstar Jet Li won the Best Actor award and actress Siqin Gaowa take home the Best Actress award.
"The Warlords" dominated the event bringing home eight awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Visual Effects, best cinematography and the Best Costume Make-Up and Design.
Jet Li said, "My 28 years of hard work had finally paid off."
The crime thriller "Protege" gave Andy Lau the Best Supporting actor award.
