Aside from her speaking and hosting engagement at the Council on Foreign Relations symposium, Angelina Jolie and her Jolie-Pitt Foundation has teamed up with Microsoft Corp and 25 leading law firms to launch of Kid in Need of Defense (KIND).
UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie is building a pro bono movement consisting of different law firms, corporate law departments and NGOs to provide legal counsel to immigrant children who enter the U.S. without an adult.
Victims are more than 8000 children who doesn't speak English and are victims of persecution, torture or trafficking, flee to the U.S.
The organization hopes to fill that need completely by the year 2010.
