Tara Reid's wedding plans is off

Actress Tara Reid has called off her wedding which is set next month.

The celeb said in a statement via People, "Tara Reid has confirmed that she will not be moving forward with her May 22 nuptials."

Tara and Internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann got engaged in January in Los Angeles.

Tara Reid is now ready to walk down the aisle as she got engaged to internet entrepreneur Michael Axtmann during dinner at The Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday night (January 18).

Reid's rep. tell People, "Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful round brilliant cut ring. Tara was so happy, and the other patrons clapped and yelled out, 'Congratulations.'"

As for their wedding date, summer 2010.

There are reports that Tara Reid is welcoming 2009 as a sober lady after she checkout of rehab in almost a month stay in Promises Treatment Center.

According to PEOPLE (before they updated the story), their source said, “She checked out on Saturday” "She's doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her. They are taking steps to do everything they can to help Tara keep on the right track."

In a recent UPDATE, according to E!online, the 33-year-old American Pie actress is still at Promises Treatment Center.

Publicist Jack Ketsoyan tells E! News that word of Reid's departure is premature and that "it's not true" that she has left rehab.

Still there's no word on what Reid was being treated for but allegedly sources say maybe her drinking habits is the reason.

It is still unknown on what issues she is being treated, The said rehab is also the center were Britney Spears previously stayed in.
