Ricky Gervais made fun of Mel Gibson (drinking) 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards (Video)

Ricky Gervais was great and funny in his hosting stint in the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards but he also delivered some awkward joke to Mel Gibson.

Like a true Brit who likes drinking, Gervais shows up on stage with glass of beer and admitted to the audience that he had already "had a couple".

Pointing to his beer, "I'm not going to lie to you, I hope I've not offended anyone -- It's not my fault. It's alot of powerful people here.....I like a drink as much as the next man, unless the next man is Mel Gibson!" [Watch the Video Below]

Mel Gibson has a previous record of drunk driving in the past so as Mel came out on stage, he jusr laughed it before presenting the award for Best Director.

Ricky Gervais will host 67th Golden Globe awards

British comedian/director Ricky Gervais will deliver some laughs next year as he host the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. This marks the first time that the telecast has had a host since 1995.

“Not only is this the biggest Hollywood celebration of the industry, which includes both film and TV, but also an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host,” says Gervais. “I have resisted many other offers like this, but there are just some things you don’t turn down.”

The 67th Golden Globe nominees will be announced on Dec. 15 and the awards event will be on January 17, 2010.

Pink lend her voice in computer-generated PETA Ad

Pink gave her support for animal rights group PETA by lending her voice in computer-generated PETA video ad.

This 30 second clip entitled "Stolen for Fashion" features two skinned animals (creepy), one is loveable alligator and one feisty rabbit who decided to stand up and confront the fashion violators who stole their skins. They demand their skins back from a couple retrieving a bag and a jacket from a coat check.

Pink for the voice of the alligator and Ricky Gervais lend his voice for the rabbit character.

Checkout the poster of the second museum-fantasy installment of Ben Stiller's "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian".

When the Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations, the museum pieces are moved into federal storage at the famous Washington Museums. The centrepiece of the film will be bringing to life the Smithsonian Institution, which houses the world's largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) flew on her non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone's rap sheet and mug shot to Dorothy's ruby red slippers, Fonzie's jacket from "Happy Days" and Archie Bunker's lounge chair from "All in the Family."

Other cast includes Dick Van Dyke, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Rami Malek, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais, Christopher Guest and Steve Coogan. It is set for release on May 22, 2009.
