Derek Fisher staying with the Lakers

NBA's reliable point guard Derek Fisher is staying with the Lakers' team after being offered with a lucrative contract by the Miami Heat. His loyalty and his teammate Kobe Bryant are part of the reasons why he decided to remain with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fisher tells TMZ, “I have decided to continue with Kobe, continue with our teammates and the fans of Los Angeles. While this may not be the most lucrative contract I’ve been offered this off season, it is the most valuable.”

“At the end of the day, there’s one person I could not turn away from,” Fisher tells us. “Kobe Bryant asked me to stay but supported whatever decision I made. He and I have played together for 11 seasons, came into the league together as kids, and has been loyal to me even when others had doubts.”

Miami Heat is building up a power house team, acquiring the services of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The missing ingredient is a reliable-veteran guard which can perform in playoff's crunch time.

Derek Fisher got Permanent Restraining Order against insane woman

Los Angeles Lakers star point guard Derek Fisher got some break from the court. Dereck's temporary restraining order against a obsessed woman will now become permanent, TMZ reports.

If your asking how obsessed this woman is, Derek Fisher and family are being harassed for years and the said stalker says that Derek and her are married.

Adding to the woman insanity, she changed her last name to Fisher, claimed she was "The REAL Mrs. Fisher" on her MySpace page.

Definitely, creepy!!!!!
