Philippine TV Ratings (April 29-May 1 '08) Marian Rivera's "Dyesebel" conquers the primetime block

Marian Rivera done it again. Undeniably, Marian is today's Philippines primetime queen with her new TV fantasy series "Dyesebel". Her team up with Dingdong Dantes for the second time is really a success.

"Dyesebel" TV series maintain the no. 1 spot in primetime programming.

Bae Yong Joon's "The Legend" is fairly maintaining the 5th and the 6th spot in the primetime block.

We can see an early axe in the future on GMA show like Gobingo's due to it's poor performance against ABS-CBN's Wheel of Fortune.

This is based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Bae Yong-joon's voice for "Winter Sonata" Animated version

Asian hit TV drama "Winter Sonata" (2002), will be remade in a animated version.

South Korea's Key East and Japan's Total Promotion, will co-produced a 26-part TV series and as a theatrical feature. This animated project will target the entire Asian market.

Winter Sonata lead star Bae Yong-joon is dubbing the voice of the character that made him famous.

The preview of the animated series as well as a video message from Bae will be screened during a press conference at Tokyo International Animation Fair on March 28.

The TV drama "Winter Sonata", became a phenomenal hit in Korea, Japan, Philippines and different parts of Asia.

Currently Bae's period drama "The Legend" is being aired in the Philippines by GMA-7 network and different parts of Asia.

Philippine TV Ratings (March 11-13 '08) Bae Yong Joon's "The Legend" in no.4 spot

An improvement on primetime rankings for GMA's new koreanovela "The Legend" starring Bae Yong Joon. The action fantasy series pilot episode last Monday March 10, 2008 has entered the Top 10 and rank no. 5 in primetime programming with 31.5 percent rating. Now, "The Legend" period drama series climbs in the number 4 spot.

From 7th to the 10th spot in the primetime block goes to ABS-CBN's Kung Fu Kids, TV Patrol World, Lobo and Palos respectively.

GMA-7's Eat Bulaga still conquers the daytime programming.

Marimar remake in the Philippines hits 39.3% rating and The Four Guardian Gods of the King 20.4% debut rating in Korea

Impressive rating from two different drama series in two different countries.

The remake of a Thalia series Marimar is now being done by GMANetwork contract star Marian Rivera shows good numbers and impressive showing. The 39.3 rating surpasses the pilot rating of 38.3%. The only close competitor is "Impostora" at 36.2% but the good news is both of this two show are from the same network.

The mega-drama "Taewangsasingi" (The Four Guardian Gods of the King) featuring Korean W star Bae Yong-joon, had more than 20% of viewers tuning. The Korean TV drama has a budget of $46 million. The drama, which took 18 months to produce, contains elaborate CG effects that viewers have compared to those in "The Lord of the Rings" or local hit "D-War."
Bae, who became a regionwide phenomenon in his previous TV drama "Winter Sonata" (2002), the series stars actress Moon So-ri ("Oasis"), Choi Min-soo ("Sword in the Moon"), Lee Ji-ah and Park Sang-won.
The high level of interest in the first episode of "Four Guardian Gods" bodes well for its future performance.
