Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin to host the Oscars

It seems they want to surpass the hosting success delivered by Neil Patrick Harris in the last primetime Emmys. The Oscars is getting two funny guys to host the next year's awards event.

Their tapping the services of Hollywood veterans Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin to co-host the 82nd Annual Academy Awards on March 7, 2010, at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.

Sharing the hosting spotlight, Steve Martin said,"I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin

For Steve Martin, "I don't play the banjo but I'm thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it's the opportunity of a lifetime."

An Oscar veteran, Martin has hosted the show twice before, in 2001 and 2003, and has appeared as a presenter several times while 30 Rock actor is a first-timer as Oscar host.

Anna suffers, such as losing the chance to go to a prestigious hockey camp in order to be there when her sister needs her, but when she turns 13 and Kate goes into renal failure, needing Anna's kidney, Anna sues her parents for medical emancipation. Attorney Campbell Alexander (Alec Baldwin), who has a guide dog he refuses to reveal the function of, agrees to work for Anna pro bono.

Based from of the novel of the same name by Jodi Picoult, the movie is Directed by Nick Cassavetes and due out June 26, 2009.

Alec kissing Jennifer Anniston: “It was the greatest day of my life"

Alec Baldwin talks about his kissing experience with Jennifer Aniston in last week's episode of 30 Rock.

Alec Baldwin told PEOPLE, “It was the greatest day of my life. Whenever you do that with someone, it’s so fake. They’re getting paid to kiss you and I’m getting paid to kiss her. But she’s a doll.”

"Jennifer is obviously someone who has a lot of things she could be doing with her time," Baldwin said. "Jennifer Aniston could be making films, she could be shopping, she could be buying a private island somewhere – she could be doing virtually anything she wants to do. And for her to take time to come be with us, I'm very, very grateful."
