Elizabeth Edwards is now laid to rest after her valiant six year battle against cancer but do know that she received a great news from her daughter Cate Edwards.
According to People, Cate Edwards got engaged to longtime boyfriend Trevor Upham during Thanksgiving weekend. A close friend shared that "Elizabeth was thrilled" about engagement.
Death is a painful event but I think Elizabeth Edwards is now smiling because she's now with the lord and with engagement news, she knows her daughter is entering in a joyful moment in her life.
