2010 MMFF: "Father Jejemon" got “G” rating from MTRCB after deleting controversial scenes

Philippines' King of Comedy Dolphy is facing a dilemma over his upcoming movie "Father Jejemon" after some people from the Catholic church criticized some controversial racy scenes and they called on the public to boycott the movie.

The veteran actor doesn't want to defy the church so he decided to delete the two controversial scenes and now, the Movies and Television Review and Classification Board gave "Father Jejemon" a “G” rating (for General Patronage).

The two controversial scenes deleted are: the Holy Eucharist accidentally dropping into the cleavage of a woman communicant and the other with the Holy Eucharist caught in the dentures of another woman communicant.

This holiday comedy is RVQ Production's movie entry for 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival.
