Promoters threaten to sue Copperfield for cancellation

Timing is always the key of a good Magic or Illusion. But timing is not in David Copperfield hands right now. Copperfield warehouse in Las Vegas was raided by FBI Officials after a woman from Seattle filed a rape case and accused David of raping her while she was in the Bahamas. Due to this untimely event his Asian tour was force to canceled.

His Asian tour cancellation will be heading to another case suit by Asian promoters. Indonesia and Malaysia promoters threatened to take a legal action against Copperfield and demanded that Copperfield must provide an explanation.

Promoter Arianna Teoh said, "We are definitely going to seek legal counsel and find out the reasons behind the cancellations and examine the situation carefully,"

"We do hope that he will be responsible and will pay back the money we have given him. I think he is a honorable man,"

"I understand that he is going through a very tough and emotional time right now, but this is business."

Four promoters from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore had hired a US-based lawyer to launch legal action against Copperfield.

Indonesian promoter alone will sue Copperfield a 3.0 million US dollars over this cancellation.
