Woody Allen’s newest film gets a title "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger"

Woody Allen’s newest film project finally has a title, "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger", slated for release in fall 2010.

It's an all-star cast that includes Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Gemma Jones, Freida Pinto and Lucy Punch,

It seems Woody is more relax and comfortable thinking the title of his movie after the filming has completed.

Woody Allen agreed to a $5 million settlement with American Apparel

Woody Allen will be receiving $5 million after he agreed with the settlement in his lawsuit against American Apparel.

Woody sued the clothing company for $10 million in damages on 2007 after they used unauthorized image still from Annie Hall for their billboard.

The 72-year-old filmaker told reporters, "I am told the settlement of $5 million I am being paid is the largest amount ever paid under the New York right to privacy law."

He hoped that the outcome "would discourage American Apparel or anyone else from ever trying such a thing again."

According to E!, "American Apparel CEO Dov Charney made clear that it was not his decision to settle with the director, rather that of the attorneys for the hipster clothier's insurance company, which is footing the bill for the hefty legal fee."

Is is easiest way to avoid a long trial and inconvenience for both parties.

Nicole Kidman will join new Woody Allen film

Adding another star power in the next Woody Allen film, Nicole Kidman will be joining a interesting cast line up that includes Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Freida Pinto and Naomi Watts.

According to Variety, the as-yet-untitled film is produced by Letty Aronson, Steve Tenenbaum and Jaume Roures. It is financed by Mediapro, the Spain-based company that also funded "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."

With this line up, it raises my curiosity with the story.
