Patrick Swayze dies, he is 57.

Patrick Swayze, who became popular with his dancing moves with the movie "Dirty Dancing" and fall in love in the romantic flick "Ghost", has died after battling pancreatic cancer. He was 57. (September 14)

Swayze's publicist Annett Wolf said in a statement. No other details were given."Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months."

He was diagnosed with the Big C back in January 2008 and his last major project is the TV series "The Beast".

A radio station in Jacksonville reported that the veteran actor has passed away which quickly spread in Twitter but the news are false. Patrick’s rep. denies the report and releases a statement against reckless reports.

"This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment."

Patrick Swayze is been battling pancreatic cancer since last year and had been undergoing diffrent treatments.

Patrick Swayze is in the Hospital for Pneumonia

Patrick Swayze who was diagnosed for pancreatic cancer for almost a year now is currently admitted in a hospital for pneumonia.

A&E president Abbe Raven said, “As we arrived here this morning we have some news. Patrick Swayze has checked himself into the hospital. However, he asked us specifically to go forward with today’s panel. We wish him the very best with his recovery.”

Patrick admitted in a interview that his condition is very serious and knows he would be lucky to live two more years.
