Regine Velasquez reacts to COMELEC’s statement on celebrity endorsement; She said "We didn’t get paid. It was out of friendship" (tweet bits)

Singer-actress Regine Velasquez is the latest artist to react about the "leave of absence" rule for celebrities who endorse political candidates.
The Asia's songbird tweeted, "a distinction should be made between artists who are openly endorsing and campaigning for candidates and those artists who are just hired to perform and provide entertainment in political sorties.

"We didn’t get paid. It was out of friendship. We know our friends well and we believe in our friends’ principles"
Regine is currently endorsing Noynoy Aquino who is running for President of the Philippines.

TV host-actress Kris Aquino also reacted to COMELEC’s statement and she called it "Unfair".

I think the Commission on Election must study and reconsider their rules. They must hurry up and release guidelines to finish this issues.
