The late Marky Cielo will be honored with a star in the Walk of Fame Philippines, says German Moreno

German "Kuya Germs" Moreno reveals that one of the honorees in the Walk of Fame Philippines is the late GMA young artist Marky Cielo.

The said news was revealed via the Master showman's column to recognize Marky's short-lived but colorful contribution to the Philippine Entertainment industry.

Marky will be given a star in the Walk of Fame at Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City on December.

Filipino young actor-GMA artist Marky Cielo died, he's 20 years old.

According to reports, Marky died in his sleep in their house in Antipolo City around 6 a.m. today (Sunday, Dec.7) His mother rushed him at Antipolo Doctors Hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.

Marky Cielo came to fame after winning the GMA's talent-reality show Starstruck season 3 and he was declared as "Ultimate Sole Survivor".

His previous project in GMA are Encantadia, Fantastikids, Bakekang, Asian Treasures, Boys Next Door, Kaputol ng Isang Awit, and Codename: Asero. But he was best known as Zaido Green in Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan.

Currently, Marky is a mainstay of the musical-variety show SOP and in the primetime series La Lola.

Marky's remains now lies at St. Peter's Chapel in Quezon City
