America Ferrera @ 2008 ALMA Awards

America Ferrera does the Betty smile as she took home Entertainer of the year award at the 2008 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California.

Her show "Ugly Betty" also took home the award for best performance by a Latino ensemble in a television series. Linda Mendoza also won the best direction of a television series.

The "Desperate Housewives" actress also hosted the event. The event celebrates the best artistic achievements of Latinos in TV, music and film. The ALMA awards stands for the American Latino Media Arts Award.
